Born name Anastasia, she gave birth to 8 children: Mehmed (1605), Ayşe (1606), Fatma (1608), Gevherhan (1611), Sultan Murad IV (1612), Kasim (1615), and the twins Sultan İbrahim and Atike (1617). She raised her stepson, Sultan Osman II (1604), as well as some of her grandchildren: Zeynep Sultan (1622), Kaya Sultan (1634), Şehzade Selim (1635).
