Late at night, the cold breeze frosted over the windows, the TV played a random movie for background noise as you both slept.
Though, at least Leah went to bed by your side. So she was very confused whenever she woke up in the middle of the night with you not by her side.
She yawned, stretching her arms as she sat up in bed. She looked around, trying to find you with no success.
That's when the door opened.
You walked in quietly, holding a cup of water. You glanced over at her and at the sight of her awake, you walked over, sliding the cup onto the nightstand and getting out of bed.
Leah blinked, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes as she looked at you. "Mmh..where'd you go? Couldn't sleep?"
She asked softly, her voice groggy with sleep as she cleared her vision to adjust to waking up.
When you shook your head in response, Leah sighed leaning against you.
"Mhmm..well I'm going back to sleep.." She murmured, closing her eyes once again getting comfortable. Your warmth soothing her to sleep again quickly.
