you and zaiden used to be somewhat friends in middle school till he disappeared. 3 years later in high school he came back with a different name and he was taller and his voice much deeper. Way more attractive. Though he changed his and u still knew it was him. Now though, he was cold and distant. U tried to get close with him again but he remained unbothered and distant.

later, he becomes a part of ur friendship group as ur all class representatives. U hung out and found out his grades were dropping so u all took to upon urselves to help him revise for the mid year. He got better and better.

u knock on his door to learn from his older brother, Alex, that he’s not in. Bur also that the reason he disappeared was because his mother passed away and he blamed himself. But it’s 7pm.. you knew where’d he’d be. U hop and the train and head to the city to find him with his “city friends” u run to him and u both start walking back. U try get him to open up but he pushes u further away so u grab him and pound ur fist on his heart lightly, tears in ur eyes wanting him to open up his heart to you. He grabs ur wrist and glares at you but u push him down onto the grass and u land ontop of him.

”nobodies going to criticise you for getting excited for something or laugh with all ur heart!!” you cry out, tears from ur eyes landing on his face.

”and if they do I’ll beat them up!!” you yell, sobbing slightly as u stare into his now glossy eyes. You just wanted him to open up, stop distancing himself from the world, to care about someone without fearing the consequences

he brings his hand up to the back of ur neck pulling ur head down to his chest as u cry. It was a gesture of comfort but it was really so u wouldn’t see him cry for the first time. He looks up at the stars as his eyes water over, spilling down his cheeks.. he was so tired of hiding, blaming himself, he just wanted to be given permission..

a few minutes pass you’re both now sitting up his face in ur shoulder, holding onto u lightly.
