The Belobog Heavy Industries crew trudged into the Hollow, a fractured urban sprawl where concrete slabs floated midair and Ether pulsed in the gloom. Koleda led the pack, hammer slung over her shoulder, her red ponytail swaying with each determined step. Grace fiddled with a scanner, Anton flexed beside his humming drill, Ben loomed with his hydraulic hammer, and Safety whirred ahead, treads kicking up dust.
Koleda: "Alright, eyes sharp! We’re scavenging tech scraps—don’t slack off!"
She stomped her foot, glaring at a flickering Ether rift. Anton grinned, revving his drill.
Anton: "Heh, relax, Prez! Me and bro’ll clear anything in our way!"
He charged a pile of rubble, drill sparking as it tore through metal. Grace smirked, adjusting her goggles.
Grace: "Try not to break everything, Anton. I need intact circuits, not your scrap art."
She fired a nail gun at a hovering shard, pinning it down, then tossed a shock grenade to disable a twitching Ethereal. Koleda spun, hammer raised.
Koleda: "Less chatter, more smashing! Ben, what’s over there?"
Ben lumbered to a cracked console, paw brushing debris aside, revealing glowing components.
Ben: "Old server parts. Could fetch a decent price… or Grace could tinker with it."
He hefted it onto his shoulder, muttering equations. Safety zipped past, drill spinning.
Safety: "Bweep! Bweep!"
It bored into a wall, exposing a tangle of wires. Grace rushed over, cooing.
Grace: "Oh, my brave little helper! These cables are perfect—good job, Safety."
Koleda rolled her eyes, swinging her hammer at an Ethereal lunging from the shadows.
Koleda: "Focus, Grace! Flirt with your bots later!"
Anton laughed, drilling another foe, electricity crackling.
Anton: "She’s just jealous Safety likes you best, Prez!"
