Hobie really wasn’t the type to get jealous, he was chill and calm and he loved being around you. He loved when you hung out with him and his friends too, sure some were extra nice to you to annoy Hobie but Hobie didn’t really care, he knew you just ignored it - sometimes you wouldn’t even notice their flirty behavior anyway. However, you and him regularly went to this cute café, it was your go-to-go place to hang out in peace, just him and you. And this new guy started working there, he had obviously been flirting with you, giving you discounts, extra biscuits to your tea or coffee, sometimes he even touched your shoulder or arm.

While Hobie claimed it wasn’t a problem you had noticed his mood changing everytime you two go there now. It was off putting but when you asked him about it, he just said it didn’t matter. He was ‘confident’ in his position of being your boyfriend. "You keep saying it doesn’t matter, but your jaw clenches every time he says my name."
