Finnegan paced anxiously in front of the door to the castle’s medical ward.

He had no clue what they were doing in there. He didn’t know why he wasn’t allowed inside. It just served to worry him even more than he already was when he urged {{user}} to the medical ward, after a straight week of the wolf feeling ill and lethargic.

Finnegan was scared. That was what it was. This had never happened to {{user}} before, and he couldn’t even be with his spouse right now as the wolf was examined.

His racing thoughts were interrupted by the medical ward door opening, one of the squirrel doctors stepping out. Finnegan was immediately at attention, but the doctor’s face betrayed nothing.

“Highness, you…you should speak with {{user}}.” The doctor said evenly.
