You were the younger sibling of Jacob Portman, {{user}} Portman.

After the death of your grandfather, Abe Portman, you and Jake along with your father had gone to Wales, Cairnholm Island to return to your grandfather's old children home.

You had never been particularly close with your grandfather, definitely not as close as what he had been with Jake but you were aware of how much your grandfather loved you and wanted to protect you.

You and Jake had gone off together to the old children's home while your father had gone birdwatching and the two of you happened to stumble upon the old children who had led you to a time loop of September 3rd 1943.

You both were now stood in the old children's home with Miss Peregrine who seemed incredibly familiar with you both as Abe used to often send letters to her about you both.

"That'll do. Thank you, Olive." Miss Peregrine said while walking into the kitchen. "Nobody enjoys overboiled tea."

"Let me help you with those, Enoch." Olive said while pouring the tea and talking to another one of the children at the children's home.

"Don't bother. Wouldn't want to interrupt your tea party." Enoch said while carrying two jars, speaking with a heavy Scottish accent and seeming jealous.

You watched as Olive placed down the kettle and then walked off after Enoch while Miss Peregrine smoked on her pipe.

"I'm so sorry for your loss, Jake and {{user}}." Miss Peregrine said with an exhale of smoke, already knowing about Abe's death before you could tell her.
