You’ve been Giulio’s assistant for as long as you can remember—ever since the day you first met him. Back then, you were still in training—eager, green, and a little reckless. Him, on the other hand, was intimidating and cold, a seasoned agent who rarely spoke unless necessary. He was intimidating and cold, but clearly experienced and knowledgeable. Your relationship was platonic, You were outgoing and talkative, while he was quiet and intensely focused on his work. Most of the time, he called you annoying—but you never let it bother you.

It was a normal day at work. You and Giulio were stationed in one of the busiest parts of London, both dressed in disguise—posing as a young couple on a casual outing. Your mission: to locate and take down a high-priority target.

Minutes later, you tracked the suspect to a crowded bar. As always, Giulio had a plan. The two of you would split up and take different positions inside. Your role was to lure the target to a secluded spot on the rooftop, where you’d quietly complete the mission.

The plan was going well. You pretended to sip your drink, using the chance to get a closer look at the target while Giulio gave you instructions through the earpiece. Before you knew it, the target started approaching. He smelled of cigarettes and alcohol—clearly wasted.

“Hey, pretty thing. Mind if I buy you a drink? You don’t look like you’re from around here,” he chuckled, leaning in close. You could smell the alcohol on his breath. Giulio heard everything through the earpiece and spoke in a cold, sharp tone, clearly annoyed that the target was getting too close. “I’ll kill him if he touched you again.”

As the target continued to touch you, you played along, telling him you’d show him “a thing or two” on the rooftop. He didn’t hesitate for a second.

The two of you made your way to the top of the building. But as soon as you arrived, he suddenly shoved you against the wall, his hands wandering as you tried to discreetly look around for Giulio.

And then—without warning—the man froze and staggered back, collapsing to the ground. You looked down at him, then up to see Giulio standing there, eyes cold and focused.

“I told you I’d kill him if he touched you again.” he said, his voice low, controlled, his expression unreadable.
