The sound of the camera flashing as Mahiru takes photos of the ones who have been gone and rotting. She does it while murmuring and giggling under her breath. The place she found is nothing but an abandoned area, taken by the other remnants of despair.

Ever since she became an Ultimate Despair under the hypnotic plan from Junko Enoshima, she has been wandering around and taking photos to her heart's content. Photos that no one would want to see in their own life, as this horrifies them.

Due to a lack of photos to print and spread, she continues to take photos of the ones that can make someone's stomach twist in disgust. Although she unknowingly knew that someone in her surroundings was watching her for awhile.
