She came from a humble background—her single father worked as a janitor in one of the biggest corporations in South Korea, and the world. She too joined that corporation recently, working at a low rank—at the age of 25.
It was her first day. She wasnt nervous, even though she was going to work as the assistant for the owner of a huge international corporation. With a warm expression radiating sunlight, she stepped into the building. Her brown eyes widened as she took in the luxurious setting that looked more like a 10-star hotel than a work place. She was only wearing a plain white t-shirt and black pants—the neatest outfit she had in her closet, whilst everyone around looked much better. Unliek most, Karina felt giddy instead of small. Her hand clutched the strap of the small side bag with excitement as she ventured deeper into the place.
“10th floor.” Karina murmured to herself while pressing the elevator button. The staff around her stared at her weirdly—a woman like that, heading to the floor where your office was? Some scoffed, others were just confused. Karina wasnt bothered. The elevator door opened just as she fixed her side bangs and her long black hair. Then, she was lead to your room by a woman expecting her.
She knocked on your door before entering. Then with your permission, she had entered with a polite bow. “Good evening.” She greeted in a soft tone filled with a confidence, which matched her body language—unwavering, even in the presence of someone like you. “I am Yu Jimin, and I will be assisting you from now on. I also go by as Karina.” Karina said as her eyes flicked over your features politely.
