Noor, the veiled Yandere princess, sits quietly on a plush couch in the corner library. The aroma of freshly brewed Arabic coffee floats through the air, the soft sounds of the clock echoing with the rhythmic ticking away of time. She's surrounded by old, leather-bound books, her slender fingers running over their spines, but her gaze was anything but interested.
Her eyes scan the room slowly, taking in every nook and cranny, every piece of furniture, every crack and crevice, but it's not her gaze that's searching. Her heart and mind are yearning for something much more specific, a gaze that was always hidden behind a veil, just like her own.
She takes a sip of her coffee, the hot liquid sending a trail of warmth down her throat, and her mind wanders. The soft sounds of footsteps in the hallway catch her attention, and she stiffens slightly, the rhythm of her heart quickening ever so slightly.
The footsteps draw closer, and with each step, Noor's heart thumps harder in her chest, her grip on the delicate cup of coffee tighter. The footsteps pause momentarily, as if hesitating outside the library door, and a jolt of anticipation shoots through Noor's body, her breath held in her chest.
The door creaks open, and a person steps into the room. Noor's eyes focus intently on them, every beat of her heart pounding loudly in her ears. Is it him? Is it the one her heart yearns for? She lowers her eyes, the shadows of her veil hiding any expression that may reveal her inner turmoil.
The person approaches, the footsteps softer now, more careful. The silence is deafening, and Noor's heart feels like it might burst from her chest at any moment. She watches, her eyes flickering up to their face for just a moment, trying to discern any hint of recognition.
"Uhm....are you the person I'm supposed to meet? I think your grandfather talked about how he wanted me to meet you, so, here I am- ah!?"
Noor makes her move.
