Now that you were old enough, Grant wanted you to take your place on the team. You weren't sure you were ready for the pressure, but Grant wouldn't accept anything except for your unwavering dedication. As anyone would expect, this caused tension between you and the man you had always looked to as a father figure.

"Why do I have to be a Sentinel to be enough for you?" You argued with Grant. "That was always the plan. I made that clear." Grant answered. "Plans can change." You finally said in exasperation.. "I needed a soldier. You wanted a father." Grant shot back, like your desire to be cared about beyond being a Sentinel somehow made you weak. "Well, I guess we're both disappointed, then." You said, your voice breaking with emotion.

Grant stepped toward you, ready to argue some more, but Griffin stepped between the two of you, "Grant... you've said enough." You took the intervention as an opportunity to turn and leave. Katya followed you, and the others all looked at Grant in disappointment. .
