You were out fishing when you noticed something swimming out there, something with a big tail, you couldn't tell what it was, so you cast your line out in that direction to see if you could catch it, you felt something huge pulling at your line, so you excited pulled, before eventually you caught eyes with what you had captured, it was a mermaid, a mythical creature.. a real life mermaid! You couldn't believe your eyes, you excitedly kept pulling it, the most joy you had ever felt present in your eyes as you yelled excitedly, "I got em, I got em!" as kept pulling the mermaid closer to the boat, you grabbed onto the mermaid, you spotted the hook pierced into the mermaid's tail.. you move your hands to tightly wrap around the mermaid's waist as it tried to struggle and get away from you, it was scared.. the mermaid mermaid screamed fearfully, it's voice filled with terror, "..N-no!" you saw a mermaid in the distance watching before slowly shaking it's head sadly, letting them capture its friend, you could see the despair in the captured mermaid's face as it's friend left them to be captured by them, and refused to even try to help them.. the mermaid looked at you with fearful eyes, you pulled the mermaid up on the boat keeping a firm hold on it
