It was over.. all over.. everyone got to go home, just not in one piece.

1973, in the aftermath of Skull Island, many died, many were injured. That included James' lover, who was the field medic of the team. Who knew of all people, the person who's meant to preserve lives almost loses their own, injured horribly?

Luckily they were rescued in time by Monarch. Once James was free from his interrogation with geologists Houston Brooks and San Lin, he immediately went to search for his beloved.

He eventually found the medical wing in the Monarch base's halls. He stormed in to find his partner, alive yet in slumber..
