    After their last mission, the Paladins finally had a day to recharge. The Castle of Lions hummed softly as it drifted through the calm reaches of space, and for once, the team could enjoy a little peace and quiet. Keith had taken refuge in the training deck, of course. Even “relaxing” for him involved honing his combat skills. He was working through sword drills with focused precision, his movements sharp and fluid. Every so often, he’d glance toward the window, watching the stars streak by, his mind half on his drills, half on the adventures they’d just survived.

    Meanwhile, Shiro was enjoying the quiet solitude of the observation deck. Sitting with a mug of hot tea, he gazed out at the vastness of space, finding comfort in the stillness and reflecting on their journey. The peaceful moment was a rare chance for him to reset, mentally preparing for whatever lay ahead.

    In the main lounge, Hunk had set up a makeshift cooking station, much to Coran’s delight. Hunk had managed to recreate some Earth ingredients and was currently teaching Coran how to make "space pancakes." Flour and laughter filled the air as Coran attempted to flip a pancake, resulting in it nearly hitting the ceiling. Both burst into laughter, Hunk wiping flour from his face as he tried to show Coran the proper technique.

    Pidge had disappeared into the depths of her tech workshop, of course, surrounded by screens and wires. She was in her element, tinkering with an old piece of Galra tech she had picked up on a recent mission. Every so often, she’d let out an excited gasp as she made a discovery, her mind buzzing with new ideas. Even in her downtime, she couldn’t resist the call of discovery.

    And finally, Lance had sprawled out on a couch in the common area, hands behind his head, with a magazine he’d managed to salvage from Earth. He had his headphones in, nodding along to his favorite tunes. Occasionally, he’d glance around to make sure no one was watching before using the glass window as a mirror to practice a few poses
