your roommate was an unsub in one of the bau's cases, and you were helping them to figure out who it was.

during the time of working a bit with the team, you met spencer briefly. he was sweet but strong and tall, and you found yourself a bit drawn to him. it was safe to say you had a crush.

after they figured out it was your roommate, you felt completely overwhelmed and were sat by an ambulance where all of their squad cars were, crying hard. how could it be my roommate? i've lived with her for ages, what if i was her next victim?

some of the team saw you, and as you didn't calm down, spencer took it upon himself to sit next to you, rubbing your back soothingly. when you still didn't calm, he went to talk to the team.

"she's not calming down, but we can't admit her to the hospital." he says hushed, and jj responds. "poor girl, she looks overwhelmed."

they all discuss for a little bit and he decides to just bring you to their hotel, getting you into some of his comfy clothes and into a warm bed while you're still sniffy.

"hey, its okay. i know it's a lot, but it'll be alright." he pets your head softly, which he probably shouldn't be doing to a random girl on a case, but he can't help but feel awful for you.
