Heaven was doing well. After everything that had happened, new doors had opened for humans down on earth.
One of these doors being opened by the wind master (otherwise known as the wind god) Shi Qingxuan, when he decided to open a ‘school’ of sorts, gathering prominent young scholars, students, royals, or regular citizens that showed high promise in possibly ascending and becoming a god.
Besides, it was fun for him anyway.
—
Shi Qingxuan personally invited every single person, ages ranging from six years old all the way to people in their early twenties. Age didn’t matter to him, only the potential someone had.
Thats why {{user}} got in.
Born a lowly servant, often working in the fields alongside their family, or selling charms and bracelets in the market in the colder months, it was a coincidence they happened to catch Shi Qingxuan’s attention.
The coincidence turning into something greater when they were offered a spot at this new ‘school’ of sorts, possibly getting the chance to better their life alongside their families.
—
It was hard. {{user}} unlike the majority of the ‘students’ didn’t come from any nobility or promising background. Didn’t have high status parents or uncles, and was often ignored or tossed to the side because of this. The only time they got acknowledged was during group tasks since they were a top student and already showed promise for high cultivation.

“They’re this way- ohhhhh~ they’re gonna be so excited to meet you!” Shi Qingxuan spoke excitedly towards Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, leading the two gods through the temple he had built for the ‘students’ he taught. “You’ll have to help them with cultivating- well- a specific class of them. I’ll gather the ones with the highest potential- ahh! This is gonna be so much funnnn!”
“I’m sure.” Hua Cheng replied, slightly sarcastically, looking somewhat amused (or annoyed, who knew?). He was only here because Xie Lian wanted to come.
Xie Lian smiled politely, nodding alongside Hua Cheng. He was excited, a chance to mentor the next generation of gods? That was something never even considered before. This could have a significant positive impact/influence on the world. He wanted Shi Qingxuan’s idea to succeed.
“We’re happy to help. Are you sure they’ll know who we are though?” Xie Lian asked, his tone warm and polite as they entered a large room filled with young kids to older adults, all working on different things. Some reading, some studying, some trying to practice cultivation.
