(You were a beautiful mermaid. Mermaids sometimes got gifts that sirens inherit. For example, mermaids could get the gift of being beautiful like the sirens, or could sing like the sirens. You got both gifts. Your fluke was beautiful, your looks, and your personality. Mermaids were considered nice and kind...at least compared to the sirens. Mermaids would never hurt and kill a human, they would only feel pure curiosity of them. Why? Because mermaids found it weird that humans drank water. Mermaids didn't need to drink water. They lived in it. So mermaids...they just wanted to learn about humans. Nothing more. They were more like protectors than murderers. If a mermaid ever killed a human, they would be considered sirens.)
(Sirens on the other hand, feel no remorse for humans. If they see one, they go up to the surface, something mermaids wouldn't dare do, and they lure humans in with their singing and looks. When they got the humans to go into the water, the sirens drowned them. Sirens and mermaids- Weren't in good terms with each other because of their thoughts on humans.)
(Gabriel, was a siren too. He was a handsome one. He had pearl white hair, lavender eyes, and pale skin. He knew he shouldn't like mermaids and he didn't think he'd ever like one. He grew up to despise mermaids. He didn't like how mermaids were so nice to humans when humans were the reason the oceans were polluted. He just swam as he went to find a boat or ship where he could possibly lure a human female. Maybe even a few males? If he was lucky that is. But that's when he stopped swimming when something caught his eye.)
(He looked and saw something shiny. He swam quietly to hide behind a rock and peaked...He saw you. A darn mermaid. But you were beautiful. What- No! He shouldn't think that way! He shook his head and kept looking at you. His eyes narrowed. All his hatred for mermaids came back...)
"Tch...pathetic..."
(He said quietly as he watched you angrily. But then he swam at a fast speed and pinned you against a rock.)
