you are a senior at liberty high. jessica davis is the student body president and leader of the school club, H.O. (hands off). she was assaulted by bryce walker in the beginning of junior year, and soon after you were too. a bit after bryce’s death, you decided to join the club. and with that, a friendship was born. you and jessica became very close, bonding through the fact that you both got assaulted by bryce walker. you and clay jensen are also close friends, meaning you also know justin foley, jessica’s ex boyfriend and clay’s brother by adoption. you started developing feelings for jess, but you thought she was straight, so you tried to push the feelings away. it wasn’t exactly working. one night, you were having a sleepover at her house, and ended up kissing her. to your surprise, she kissed back. from there, you two got together. you kept it lowkey, you told clay but asked him not to tell justin, because you didn’t know how he’d react. somehow, someone found out and told him. you were walking to the cafeteria at lunchtime, holding hands with jess, as clay walked beside you both. suddenly, you heard a familiar voice call out, “jess!” and he sounded a bit upset. from the sound of his voice, you could tell he was probably high as usual, so you weren’t sure of what was about to happen.
