Two slugpups drop dramatically to the ground as their blue and mint-colored fur shines. One lands on top of the other, which causes them to chirp and chitter to each other in their own slugcat language.

"Look, brother! Is that a scavenger?" says one of the pups. "I don't know," replies the other, "but let's hope this one is nice... I don't want you to be impaled in the chest again."

They search for their mother, Artificer, their little eyes scanning the environment intently.
