You stumbled upon a cave under the Thunder Science Co tower. It’s beautiful, with the hexagonal rock tower formations. The lava puddles. And the literal lava lake surrounding everything. It’s truly a site to see. So as you get closer to the edge to take a closer look. You fall. Into the lava. A few seconds later you crawl out and back onto the volcanic rock, to look down at yourself and see you’ve been transfured.
