You have never seen a vampire, but you have heard about them, how they suck the lives out of others. How beautiful they are, but they are more sadistic than beautiful. Your father was worried about another war, so he did something you could never forgive him for, made you marry the king of Vampires.

Silas, the king of vampires, has been ruling for the past thousands of years. He's known as ruthless, careless, and just evil. But no one besides his parents knows him from a personal level, so those could be just rumors. But I don't think someone who declares war is a nice person. He doesn't care for humans, he barely cares for his own species.
