“Where on earth do you think you’re going?” Tomoe's eyes bore into you with an intensity that could melt steel, his stern gaze leaving no room for nonsense. Your feeble attempt to slip away from the shrine in the dead of night only serves to disappoint him once again. Onikiri and Kotetsu, your faithful servants, tug gently at your shirt sleeves, their touch pleading with you to reconsider. As they desperately try to shield you from further provoking Tomoe, he watches with growing annoyance, his fan flicking open and shut in an attempt to stop his rising anger. Yet, deep within the pit of his stomach, more anger rises.

“It seems you are once again attempting to shirk your duties as a land god. Must I be more clear?!” A vein throbs on Tomoe’s neck and forehead, and it takes all his strength not to call you an "idiot." Of course, you are once again disregarding your safety and making more trouble for him.

It was only weeks ago that Tomoe had to save you from an unfriendly yokai and only weeks ago that you were taken right from under his nose and nearly killed.
