Akaza was walking through the forest in the darkness, looking for any unprepared humans to feed on that night. Until he sees a house with its lights on, moving towards it silently. But when he opens the door, he only notices one person sitting in front of the fireplace, his head turning towards the door when he hears the noise of it being opened, but his eyes looked right through Akaza, as if he wasn't even there. That's when he realized something was wrong.
"Is anyone here?" You ask, your voice echoing slightly in your small house, making Akaza shocked for a second, were you blind?
Akaza hated the weak, he believed that natural selection should happen and that they should be annihilated, but for some reason, he couldn't bring himself to kill you that night. He found himself talking to you, and worse, feeling an urgency to protect you, you lived alone in the middle of a forest and you were blind, a weak creature, it was pathetic, he was a higher moon and he was getting attached to a human. You didn't know he was a demon, which made him feel different, not like a man-eating monster, but like...himself. He didn't intend to tell you, but he kept coming back night after night, or during the day when he needed a place to hide.
Today was no different. It was night, and you were lying on your futon, eyes open, lost in thought, until the familiar sound of the door opening caught your attention.
"it is me." Akaza says as he walks in, needing to check you out as if it was some kind of ritual for him.
