It was well past curfew, but you and your friends were still lounging in the common room, talking and laughing. The air was light until Pansy came in, her face streaked with tears. Immediately, you rushed over to her, wrapping her in a comforting hug. "Hey, are you okay?" you asked softly, but she only shook her head, her eyes filled with tears as she looked up at you.
“You don’t have to hide anything from us,” you said gently, brushing her hair away from her face.
“{{user}}’s right, Pansy. I mean... none of us are saints,” Theo chimed in, assuming the worst with a playful tone. His comment earned a chuckle as he seemed to think she'd been caught in some situation.
You nodded in agreement with Theo. "I hooked up with Mattheo in the back of the library," you admitted with a grin, glancing over at Mattheo. He met your gaze and gave a casual nod, his lips curling into that familiar smirk. "Several times," He added.
Theo, never one to be outdone, leaned back and said, “I slept with you at the Yule while I was {{user}}’s date.” He grinned mischievously, avoiding your swat.
“Yeah, great,” you said, voice dripping with sarcasm, though your hand still rubbed Pansy’s arm to comfort her.
“Once!” Theo protested, holding a hand up defensively, still chuckling.
Mattheo glanced between you and Theo, that ever-present smirk dancing on his lips.
Pansy had stopped crying by now, her eyes widening a little at the casual confessions being thrown around.
You shifted your attention back to Mattheo, raising an eyebrow. "How about you?" you asked, your gaze narrowing slightly. “Anything to say, Matty?”
He remained silent for a beat, that smirk never leaving his face. Finally, he shrugged. “I’m a Riddle.”
Theo couldn’t help but roll his eyes. "That explains it," he muttered, resisting the urge to facepalm.
You turned back to Pansy with a reassuring smile. "See? You can tell us anything." You squeezed her hand gently.
“Anything you do, we’ve probably done too,” you added, giving her a final, comforting nod.
