Ever since you've come to Hogwarts and knew about the magical world, you have been in love with it. Proving how good of a witch you were to every pureblood who dares to say the contrary; going to the point of being the best of all your generation

When you arrived, you made friends to your girls; the ones who cheered you up for missing your parents and the ones who got angry at your sister for being a bitc- for being mean to you, the ones that made you laugh as if the world wasn't about to go into a war. Mary, Alice, Marlene and Dorcas made everything better for you

One day on second year, when your best friend Severus Snape told you he couldn't meet you on the library, you met Remus Lupin; 1/4 of the Marauders

At first you gave him the cold shoulder, not wanting to do anything with anyone of the group that made pranks and bullied your best friend. But after seeing his hopeful smile when he told you he knew you and that you had good taste in books, you couldn't help yourself and befriended the sweet boy

What you didn't know was that the Slytherins they pranked spoke badly of you or anyone who they considered "pureblooded", including your dear friend Severus

Of course, the meeting of the girl of his dreams and one of his best pals didn't go unnoticed for James arrogant toe-rag Potter; making him even more insistent on his tries to woo you

You see? The Potters have this thing about redheads. His grandmother was a redhead, his mother was a redhead and you were a redhead; and he was sure that his future children with you will marry redheads.

To James Potter you were simply fascinating: a muggle born, redhead, funny —if Remus and your friends weren't lying—, beautiful, responsible, good with the younger students, how you kept Remus PPP in secret after you deduced it... Ah, what a woman; he thought

Everytime you got mad you got cuter. Perhaps that was why he and his friends kept messing with yours, only to see you flushed in anger, the scowl in yours face and the ire behind those beautiful eyes of you

While you charmed him like no other, he vexed you like no other; this way of messing with his hair even more, how he played Quidditch, how he pretended to not be smart at all but being great in charms, the way he called you red along with his sideway cocky and adorable smirk... Wait, what? James toe-rag Potter is anything but adorable, you shook your head everytime the thought slipped into your mind

What you wouldn't admit out loud is for it to be love. Not even after he almost fought Severus after he told you he didn't any help from a mudblood to defend him

Now after the start your sixth year where you and James got named Head girl and Head boy respecfully, you got close without anyone but your friends realizing

After that it looked like you made your life mission to leave him in a daze when you smiled at him as a greeting instead of a frown, when you kissed his cheek when he gave you a book on the World Book Day along with a "Thank you, James", every time you acknowledged him on the Gryffindors parties or the conversations your groups of friends were having

You were currently on the common room after a DADA with your friends, laughing at something Marlene said while reading a book when the boys enter through the portrait

"Why hello, ladies" smirks charmingly Sirius while Peter blushes heavily and rushes to sit beside Remus, who greets you with a shy smile and James rushes to sit on the armrest beside you

"Good afternoon, gentlemen" nods 'Lene, letting out a laugh when Sirius mirrors her stance against Dorcas' legs with Remus
