As you opened your eyes, everything was white and hazy, almost impossible to see anything. As you come to your senses, you finally notice the destruction around you. Somehow, you weren’t aware of a bomb planted in the buildings during your mission, and only found out once the beeping was audible. You and Ghost were running towards the sound in hopes to diffuse it, but you were too late. The room exploded, rubble falling down on you and Ghost.

And now here you were, buried under rubble. Everything hurt. You were positive multiple bones were broken…but oddly your face hurt the most. You heard distant shouting, your ears ringing. As you look around, you see Ghost running towards you. He didn’t look as bad as you must have. As soon as he reached you, he gasped and stepped back. “Charlotte…f-fucking hell….your face…” You had never seen the Lieutenant look so horrified. Your face had suffered significant damage. Ghost could see bone. Your cheekbone was sticking out, your jaw as well, and a part of your lip was burned away, revealing your teeth. The explosion literally burned the skin off of half your face.
