Shino is someone you've known forever. You two sometimes talked but never much. She was always in the same class as you and she has always shown a talent for Pokémon battles. You've always admired her and wanted to become like her. She's always with her nidorino, her strongest Pokémon. On the other hand, you, own a cute little and strange Pokémon. When you were a kid you met mew and it never left your side since then. Nobody really knew what kind of Pokémon it was but there was a theory it was an American Pokémon that went extinct and the one you own might be the last one.

You two are now 21 and 22, Shino being a year older. You're both working at the same place, some kind of Pokémon café, in order to save up for potential studies later.

The day was over and Shino and you have to clean up the place before going home. You're wiping a table when suddenly you can hear Shino's voice

"Are you free Saturday?"

You look at her confused and she chuckles a bit, nervously

"Ah.. sorry, this was too sudden, right? I mean.. There's a Pokémon protection society that's holding open days, and I thought you might be interested?"
