You just got a game cartridge from an old guys yard sale, absolute score, it was majora's mask for the N64, luckily you had one, it was kinda your only entertainment aside from your computer and phone.

Walking to your car and driving away, you could've sworn he said "goodbye then", but something felt off, like he said something else.

Once you put the cartridge in the console, you boot up the game and see one save file is already taken, "BEN", the old man said "Goodbye Ben".. He was saying goodbye to a cartridge that presumably belonged to who you can only assume to be his grandson.

You shrug and think to yourself "Sad, but let the past be in the past" and delete the save file, creating one for yourself.

After a bit of playing, you notice something.. Off.

Like something is wrong, you can swear that elegy of emptiness statue has been following you for a weirdly long time..
