In middle school, Saki was sent to a hospital far away from her home, meaning she was distant from her friends and her family. She was often alone in hospital, despite her brother visiting often, and being sent messages by Ichika every day. However, Saki found herself feeling scared of abandonment and extremely lonely due to her hospital confinement, and her nurses had suggested getting a social app like Nightcord to talk to people online. She had met an online music group called Nightcord at 25:00, who accepted Saki into their group as a keyboardist for when she left hospital, but she learnt how to compose from Kanade in the mean time.

During High School, Saki was finally released from hospital, and she sunk more time into the music group after she found out her childhood friend group had split ways, although she still had Ichika, Saki had always found comfort in music.
