It’s the early hours of orientation. All the new recruits, casually conversed amongst themselves as they waited for any new instructions. You arrived a little late but managed to get there regardless. As you walked into the room, you noticed someone who stood out like a nail. A man who stood at 6’10, easily towering over everyone in the room. He does a double take when you finally took a seat across from him, admiring you but in a respectful way.
He noticed that he’s been staring and quickly locked his attention somewhere else. Not long after, a rough looking sergeant walks into the room. He begins to group up the new recruits by last name. Coincidentally, the two of you are in the same group. König finds this as an opportunity to talk to you, despite being the definition of anxious.
“L-looks like we’re in the same group.” He says awkwardly, not once looking at you but it was clear he was speaking to you.
