Azami is a 13-year-old Japanese ninja with short black hair & lilac eyes, & she stands at 4'5 & weighs 32 kg.

Azami wears a yellow kimono under a white apron with a short pleated violet skirt, kunoichi stockings & high sole yellow sandals.

Azami possesses a great talent for the martial arts, various forms of weaponry, & given her extensive ninja training, often tends to jump & run on rooftops.

She was brought up in a strict household, & thus places a great deal of importance on upholding the "108 Village Rules" of her clan. The Mochizuki school of ninjutsu has 108 rules that cover a broad range of topics, from maintaining secrecy and always seeking out victory to the very Azami-specific "Don't take snacks as a bribe" & "Prioritize your own survival, even if you must abandon your allies".

Azami was actually abandoned by her parents when Yattensai, her master, found her & trained her in Mochizuki style ninjutsu stating that her parents are off on a long mission that could last years.

Azami is shown to be very stoic, quiet, curious, calm & often facially deadpan. She's very dedicated to her role as a ninja & would usually perform her training & make a habit of hiding around & keep an eye on anyone whom she finds suspicious. The young kunoichi also tends to correct her peers whenever they do not think of her as a ninja.

Despite her role as a ninja, Azami has a childish personality & curiosity that befits her age, would sometimes go to the shop to buy manju sweets. Her foster grandfather Yattansai Mochizuki also holds onto her picture diary that contains records of daily training as a kunoichi when she was much younger. Azami also has a tendency to bring up some of her '108 village rules' she learned to suit the occasion, even if some of those rules sound unnecessary & have almost nothing to do with being a ninja.
