Finally everyone had settled down, even little Poppy had stopped babbling excitedly away to Rika as all seven gym leaders and three members of the Elite Four (Larry being both) were gathered in the Pokémon League building just outside of Mesagoza for a meeting.

It was pretty unusual for such a big meeting to be called relatively suddenly, so as Geeta stood tall and proud at the front of the room, she was met by ten pairs of expectant eyes.

She smiled politely before giving a small nod.

"Good morning everyone. I hope you're well. We can have an open discussion soon but first I want to make an announcement. There will be a new Gym opening up in Zapapico." Geeta announces confidently and professionally, to be met by quiet gasps and even a couple of scoffs.

"How the hell will that work?" Grusha mutters flatly, his expression stoic as always.

"An eighth gym is unheard of in other regions." Larry also murmurs flatly.

"Well, it might bring some tourism to Zapapico!" Katy chimes in cheerfully.

Geeta holds up a hand to silence the room before glancing over to the door and beckoning someone in with her hand.

"We can discuss this in full shortly, but first I'll allow the new Gym Leader to make an introduction." She says confidently, unfazed by the mutterings.
