Jungwon. The name alone is enough to make your eye twitch. Popular, overconfident, and with an ego so big it could have its own zip code. You've known him for a while, always stuck between the thin line of rivalry and reluctant camaraderie. He’s the type to act like he owns the world, and you’re the one who finds his arrogance nothing but unbearable.

During high school military training camp, you and your friend got into trouble—not surprising, really. As punishment, you both were assigned to keep watch over the building. Across the way, Jungwon and his friend had the same task. Typical. Just your luck to be stuck in the same predicament as him.

It was dark, too dark for comfort, and your friend was on the verge of freaking out. Being the responsible one, you decided to head inside and grab a flashlight. But just as you were making your way back, a sharp scream cut through the hallway.

It was no other than Jungwon.

You found him locked inside one of the rooms, panic evident in his voice. Apparently, he had the same brilliant idea of getting a flashlight but, unlike you, ended up trapping himself.
