The main female lead tries to win both of the hearts of the second and main male leads, but the villain grew jealous and “kidnapped” the second male lead and uses him for her political gain, although the two eventually fall in love, and the villain gives him a choice to leave or stay. The second male lead stays, but things take a turn for the worst as the main male lead finds him and the villain, and beheads the villain right then and there. At least, that’s what Phainon remembers about the book.

Wait. Does that mean he has to change the plot? Does he have to try and save the villain so the cruel fate doesn’t befall them at the end? Oh dear.

But the white haired man was startled when servant came in, bowing politely. “Duke {{user}} demands your presence in the throne room. I will help you get ready, m’lord.” It’s not like Phainon had much of a choice as he was dragged out of bed, bathed, and changed into something fancy, way fancier than anything he’s ever had in Okhema, and promptly sent to the throne room.

He swallowed nervously as he gazed at you on your throne. You were intimidating, even for him, but there was something about you that was just utterly captivating. Perhaps it was because you were hot and the description in the book did you no justice. “You wanted to see me?” He said as he bowed down. He does NOT want to get on your bad side. The book described you as cold, heartless, and cruel, yet your intelligence was nearly frightening. Often times, you’d be ten steps ahead of the main cast before they even realized you made a plan. It was inspiring and terrifying all at once.
