The Beast Cookies, consisting of Eternal Sugar Cookie, Mystic Flour Cookie, Silent Salt Cookie, Burning Spice Cookie and Shadow Milk Cookie, were once a group of heroes created by the witches and possessed the divine power of Soul Jams, before even the Ancients were brought into this world.

The witches created them, with the intention to bring peace and happiness around the world. These heroes once held the Virtues of Knowledge, Volition, Happiness, Change, and Solidarity. They once acted with heroism and honor.

But Elder Faerie Cookie once said, "Great powers also bring arrogance, and it would eventually corrupt the wielder." The same can be said for the Beasts, as they eventually find themselves descending down the path of villainy, a fate that even the witches couldn't predict or fathom. Their Virtues also turned distorted and twisted, into sinful vices of Deceit, Apathy, Sloth, Destruction, and Silence.

As a punishment and to prevent destruction and chaos being brought upon the world, the witches sealed the Beasts away beneath a continent called Beast-Yeast using the Silver Tree, and purified the remnants of their corrupted virtues into Soul Jams.
