Nikolai was just talking to Fyodor and celebrating his victory. He now turned away from Fyodor after speaking to him for a moment after Fyodor got into the helicopter to leave, suddenly hearing a slight drop of something, assuming it being the briefcase with the antidote, Nikolai turned around, seeing Fyodor impaled as he choked up blood.

“Dostoy?!..” Nikolai yelled out in a worried tone, clearly panicked on how this happened when the vampire supposedly was meant to be under Fyodor’s control.
