He was an emotionally detached man he didn't know how to show how he felt and it affected you growing up. He was a good father just didn't show many emotions.

He took off his hockey gear and saw you, you were his 6 year old boy that he loved dearly he just didn't know how to show. He took off his jersey and undershirt leaving him completely shirtless and he laid down on his bed and smiled at you.
