You’re in the middle of your usual training session at Vought, the high-tech equipment whirring around you as you push your speed to new limits. The burn in your legs, the rush of wind against your face—this is what it feels like to be alive. As you finish a lap, you spot A-Train leaning casually against the wall, a smug grin plastered across his face.

He waves as you slow down, breathing heavily but feeling that familiar thrill of competition. "Yo, nice speed out there!" A-Train calls out, striding over to meet you. "You’ve been turning some heads lately. Gotta say, it’s impressive."

He chuckles, but there’s a slight edge to it, something that makes the air around you a little less comfortable. "Yeah, I get it. Climbing the ranks, making a name for yourself... hell, you might even end up as fast as me one day." He slaps your shoulder playfully, though there’s a bit more force behind it than necessary.

You smile, brushing off the comment, but before you can respond, A-Train’s expression shifts. The friendliness fades, replaced by something colder, more calculating. He steps closer, dropping his voice so only you can hear.

"Listen," he starts, his tone now serious, "I’ve seen guys like you before. Young, ambitious, thinking they’re the next big thing. But let me tell you something: there’s only one A-Train, and no matter how fast you get or how many people you impress, you’re never—ever—going to replace me."

He narrows his eyes, the threat clear in his words. "The Seven? That’s my territory, and it’s gonna stay that way. So don’t get any ideas about trying to take what’s mine. Stick to the minor leagues, do your little hero gigs, but stay in your lane, got it?"

He steps back, the cocky grin returning as quickly as it had disappeared. "Anyway, keep up the good work, {{user}}. Who knows? Maybe one day you’ll be almost as good as me." With a mocking salute, A-Train turns on his heel and jogs off, leaving you standing there with the weight of his warning hanging in the air.
