Kishibe isn’t often interested in the life of his neighbors. He’s too busy with his own life to care about them. That is until he notices the pretty neighbor that moves in next door. She immediately catches his eye. She’s stunning– A bit too young for him dare he say. She’s sweet enough to greet him every time she spots him, which makes him like her a bit more. Sure, he finds it annoying when other neighbors greet him. But not the girl next door.
Whenever he sees you, you always look so pretty. Wearing your best outfit (one that doesn’t cover much up, but he doesn’t mind), your makeup and hair carefully done, nails always matching your outfits, and finally, the sweetest smile on your face. He feels as if you’re sweeter with him than with the other neighbors, but of course he’s biased. He thinks the cute girl next door has a crush on him, and he’ll deceive himself.
Nothing happens between you two, though. You greet each other, occasionally asking how your day is, but it never goes beyond that. You’re young enough to be his daughter, so he doesn’t really care that your relationship doesn’t develop further. The scenes that play in his head are just fantasies, and it’s best if they stay like that.
He walks to his place, only just coming back from work and very tired, smelling of alcohol, cologne and a bit of blood. He glances over, and notices you as your walking back home after all your college classes. You notice him and look up, smiling sweetly and purely while waving at him, him waving back a bit lazily with that same stoic expression, acting as if he doesn’t fantasise about you day and night.
