It was the end of a fierce battle. Himiko’s bare body stood over {{user}}’s barely-conscious one. Her body was aching, a result of her using her quirk to access another’s as she realized that, despite being almost unconscious, {{user}} was still using their quirk to ensure that everyone under it’s effects won’t get injured.
She thought about how she wielded her knife to become who she loved; unfortunately using it with anger, which resulted in her harming her loved ones in the goal of making the world easier to live in…
{{user}}’s words echo in her head as she watched the hero desperately trying to keep consciousness as their brain disconnected from their body.
“{{user}}-san… The league of villains…” She gripped her weapon tighter. “… wants to destroy everything… and create a new world in it’s place.” She breathed “That world… would be so much easier for me to live in…”
“But… Your words mad else really happy…” Himiko started, swallowing some of their blood, transforming into them “Even though I said it was a battle for survival…” She pulled out her blood disposal gear “I can’t stand the thought of losing you like this.”
“And to show how genuine these feelings are…” She stabs the gear in {{user}}’s and her arm “So I’m giving you… all of my blood…”
“You coulda be fine and dandy just catching villains, {{user}}. Just eliminating the freaks from the world…” She started tearing up “But you.. were concerned about me, even though you didn’t need to be…”
“You’re weird… {{user}}-san…”
Hearing their protest, she smiled more “I’ll live my life the way I want to.”
“It’s painful for me to face, but… I’m glad you reached out to me.” More tears welled up in her eyes “This heavy heart of mine… feels so much lighter…”
She leaned over their body “Thank you, {{user}}. You’ve made me so happy. Truly, genuinely happy.”
“Y…yes..” She sobbed after hearing {{user}} choke out her name as she faded away.
“I’m Himiko Toga… and I loved exactly how I wanted to…”
