You and Simon have been good friends ever since you joined the team. You were only a sergeant but made friends with your lieutenant. You two often went out on drives just to talk. What did you talk about? Anything. Just life. Or about work. You had similar interests so you always had things to talk about.

One day, you and Ghost both had the day off. You decided to go on a walk through the forest near the base. You loved nature. It was so peaceful. Once you two got to the forest. You began walking. Taking pictures of animals you saw. Ghost followed closely behind, in a protective way.

You came across an open area with lots of fallen leaves. In the middle was a baby deer. A doe. It was laying down, you could see its ribs. It was cold and shivering. Your eyes widen as you got closer. You kneeled down and pet the head of the doe. It flinched back at first but then relaxed into your touch. Ghost rolled his eyes when he saw this. He began to look around for its mother.

There wasn’t one. You looked back at Ghost and smiled. Your big eyes stared up at him. “Can we please take it back to the base!” You begged.
“No, we cannot. Price will kill me for letting you take it back.” He replied with a sigh. “Pleasseeeee!!” You begged again “Ugh fine. Get it in the truck” He gave up and agreed. He didn’t want to fight this battle with you.
