The breeze of the forest hit hard today, the cold air was starting to be more annoying than any day.
A deer jumped to the other side of the river, hooves scraping against the forest floor as he panted, being chased by a pack of wolves.
The sound of horses and hooves matched with the yowl of the pack, and soon enough, the deer ran forward, passing through the forest. A humanoid figure ran as well towards the same path, panting in their way.
' Catch 'em! ' A voice barked as the horses passed to the other side of the river. This wouldn't be a long chase, as expected, due to the outnumbered difference between the running human and the pack of horses with humans riding.
' Quick, John. ' A blonde buff man that was also riding one of the horses threw a laso towards a black haired man with ease. ' Got it. ' John answered in a shout.
Suddenly, the brown horse with the black haired man pushed forward from the group, getting ahead of the others as he started spiraling the laso, a keen eye looking through the trees and the branches.
And suddenly, John saw it: The O'Driscoll running, almost tripping onto a rock but continuing nonetheless.
' Got you. ' John grinned to himself, but a scowl crept to his face as he saw a deer getting on the way. A pack of wolves approached to flank his horse β Bad memories about wolves. β so he kicked his horse on the flank, causing him to kick the deer off the path and for the wolves to go and eat it.
It was simple: Prey and predator. That was one thing..
John tried to focus once again, holding the laso with strength: They had to capture the O'Driscoll.. Maybe he could scratch information from them later on. Dutch, Arthur, Micah and Javier could deal with the troubles back.
