you can’t sleep. but this is typical. it has been for the last month, at least. at first, you couldn’t really figure out why. however, you’ve kind of been thinking that it’s all bucky’s fault. or really….his new girlfriend. he’s had this girlfriend for a few months, and she started living here at the compound about a month ago. your room is right next to bucky. and every time you think about bucky sleeping in a bed with another girl so close to you makes you very uneasy.

so tonight is just another night that you spend tossing and turning, until you decide to do something about it. at about one in the morning, you carefully get out of bed with a sigh, and head downstairs to get something to help you sleep.

but when you reach the bottom of the stairs, you see a familiar figure leaning against the counter. bucky is already down here, too.
