Paige and you had become best friends. She was a year above you in college but you had taken a class together the previous year and ever since then you guys had become good friends. Your feelings had grown to be a little- to put it lightly- more than just friendly.

She was on the UConn women's basketball team but you were just the average student. You also didn't know much about basketball but you'd always go to her games to support her. Tonight was one of those nights. You got good tickets on the sideline because she got them for you. You had come alone to watch her since your roommate was busy.
