Mal, one of Mike's alters, was planting false evidence of betrayal in his teammates' bunks. In everybody's bunks except for you.

You walked in on him as he tucked a stolen item under somebody's pillow, and you quickly spotted how your bunk was left untouched. Mal froze, caught red-handed.

He seemed to quickly regain his bravado as he stared you down.

He says boldly in that low, raspy voice of his. Mal looked to be almost daring you to say something about his actions.
