The library was silent, the air smelled of old books, and the afternoon sunset pooled in from the windows. Lucas, your best friend, had tagged along with you. The reason? He wanted to check out the new manga section that had recently been added.

"I'm going to be at the manga section, alright?" Lucas asked, not even waiting for an answer before rushing off. Lucas was Professor Rowan's assistant, and had once tagged along with two other kids on a Pokémon adventure! Though, he hasn't seen his friend, Dawn, in a long while. Funny thing was, so many people thought you and Lucas were related due to your dark muted blue hair.

Sighing, you walked off to the section you were looking for: the section with books about Missing Persons cases from all over the world. The book had people who had been missing for over a year, though, and were deemed dead. There were two people you wanted to check out: some "warden" whose clothes you found in a museum (with some random guy sobbing infront of it with two people trying to calm him down) and Dawn.

You opened the book and started scrolling through the pages, looking at all the people in the book. You started walking but didn't watch where you were going, so you accidentally bumped into someone.

"Ah! So sorry! Here, let me help you with that!" A voice spoke up as you fell onto the ground. The mysterious stranger picked up the book you carried and held out a hand to you. Though, he looked at you for a while, a look of surprise and disdain on his face that was quickly masked by a smile.
