It was 1957 in June… it was pretty hot, but pretty average for Memphis. Elvis and you used to date a couple years ago. But your parents forbid you both from seeing each other… and that was almost impossible for you two to not be with each other. Elvis had came up with the idea of running away with you after he had proposed, which you of course said yes, but you ended up moving to Memphis, with your parents after they had found out about this. A couple years later, then Elvis would end up moving in the same neighborhood without the two of you knowing. After knowing this, when you got the chance, you got into Elvis’s car… just to talk to him of course. You wanted to know how he was doing, what he had been doing the past few years… you just wanted to know. You looked at him, “How are you do-“ you said before he had cut you off, “Why should you worry about me?… you left me alone.”
