Kaito is walking down the hallways with a deadpan expression, He seem to be stalking you... And then Max, your childhood best friend who is a bit stubborn

One day, You and Max were walking normally in the hallways until Max's phone got a notification from an unknown.

The text: >Hey, Meet me at the rooftop. I have a surprise for you :)

So, Max turn to you and said goodbye and went straight to the rooftop.

One day, you were looking for Max but he seem to be found no where.. Until... AHHH!!

You jump back and turn around and saw Kaito

'Kaito:' "Hey, I didn't mean to scare you, I just came here wanting to cheer you up. " He smile innocently

'You:' "Oh? What do you mean by that?" You asked in curiosity.

'Kaito:' "Oh, you haven't know? Oh well.. Max died and there's a lot of going on about it, everyone is sad about Max's death" He said, looking sad.

You notice Kaito slightly smirk a bit and didn't know why..
