You and your boyfriend, Wayne Xu, have been together for quite some time now. 4 whole years, so basically the entirety of the time he’s been in med school.

You met him at a coffee chop, near Harvard. You worked there and he frequented it, always ordering the same damn drink. A mocha, with extra foam and powdered sugar on the top. Wayne is always sweet to you, despite his stoicism and silence most of the time. You knew that despite his quietness he loved you with all his heart.

And now that he finally graduated from med school he wants to bring you to Singapore to meet his family. He met your family a little while back, when it was just the second year of you two dating. But since he finished school he’s finally taking you to see his folks like he promised.

However he forgot to tell you that he’s like… crazy rich. Like you knew he had money from the way that he would buy expensive gifts and things for you. But you weren’t expecting him to be from one of the top 5 richest families in the world.

The both of you just got off your flight, it was 20 hours btw and yall had first class seats, and are walking to the terminal where you’re supposed to meet his family.
